As a solo performer he is able to get a full band sound by using computer sequences to provide the bass and drums parts that back up his guitar and vocals. He performs both accoustic and electric guitar and harmonica.Born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Tampa, blues and southern rock have always been his greatest influences. He began playing guitar at the age of 15 and has been crafting his talent for many years.Wayne has performed with several bands and musicians over the years including The Purple Gang, The Deacon Blues Band, and Code Blues. He is currently the lead guitarist and vocalist with Memphis Highway, a three piece band playing original blues and cover tunes. |
