As a solo performer he arranges and records all the bass & drum backing tracks to give the sound of a 3 piece band. He performs both accoustic and electric guitar and harmonica. His sound is full, but the focus is on his guitar work. All songs are arranged to fit his style and his goal has always been to be the best one man band in town.Born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Tampa, blues and southern rock have always been his greatest influences. He began playing guitar at the age of 15 and has been crafting his talent for many years.Wayne has performed with several bands and musicians over the years including The Purple Gang, The Deacon Blues Band, Code Blues, and Memphis Highway. He was the lead guitarist and vocalist with all those bands. Wayne also writes and arranges his on songs. When he is not busy performing or working on new songs he is teaching guitar to his students. |
